Hi There!

My name is Rita and I am based out of Lancaster, CA. I have been married since March 2013 and my husband and I are blessed with a handsome one year old baby boy. I am a natural light photographer who loves to be able to capture you and your memories with the people you love. Having a little one I understand how precious these fleeting moments are - children go through stages and overall grow up so very quick. Being able to capture you and your family just the way you are is what I strive to do in every session!

I am a self taught photographer, stay at home mom, craft enthusiast, cloth diaper believer, Etsy and handmade/local goods buyer, foodie (who hates to cook) and my husband’s biggest fan. I love to shop online just so I can get packages in the mail. I’m addicted to Starbucks, Target and Trader Joe’s. My favorite television shows are Game of Thrones, Outlander and American Ninja Warrior. What to expect during and after your photoshoot?

Your family photoshoot will be relaxed and enjoyable, resulting in photos which are natural and authentic. I give some direction to ensure you are in the most flattering light and position, then I let you just be so that I can capture your family interacting naturally. This is your chance to take an hour or so out of your busy lives to just enjoy each others’ company. I want children to be able to play and almost forget that I am there. I strive to get the best out of the most reluctant subjects, big and small!

After the session, you can sit back with a smile on your face, safe in the knowledge that you’ve invested time in capturing gorgeous moments of your family. I will spend time carefully selecting the very best images from your shoot (around 75-100 in total), then digitally color correcting each one individually. Within a week or so you will receive a password to a secure online gallery for viewing and print ordering (if needed) as well as a direct download link which will be valid for 2 weeks.
